  • Greater Kansas City Community Foundation - The Community Foundation, including its six affiliates within the Greater Kansas City region, is recognized as a national leader in making sure every philanthropic investment returns the greatest emotional, civic and financial benefit possible.   • The Hall Family Foundation - A private philanthropic organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of human life. Programs that enrich the community, help people and promote excellence are considered to be of prime importance. The Foundation views its primary function as that of a catalyst. It seeks to be responsive to programs that are innovative, yet strive to create permanent solutions to community needs in the Greater Kansas City area.

  • The H & R Block Foundation - Since 1974, The H & R Block Foundation has improved the quality of life by responding to the changing needs of people and communities through thoughtful, innovative, and responsible philanthropy. The Foundation aligns leadership and resources to create positive social change on important community issues.

  • The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation - Focusing on the major health care issues facing the U.S., as well as the U.S. role in global health policy. Unlike grant-making foundations, Kaiser develops and runs its own research and communications programs, sometimes in partnership with other non-profit research organizations or major media companies.

  • Kansas Health Institute - An independent, nonprofit health policy and research organization that informs policymakers about important issues affecting the health of Kansans.

  • Kansas Health Foundation - The Kansas Health Foundation is a private philanthropy dedicated to improving the health of all Kansans.

  • Missouri Foundation for Health - Empowering the people of the communities we serve to achieve equal access to quality health services that promote prevention and encourage healthy behaviors. Service area includes 84 counties eastern and southern Missouri, and the city of St. Louis.

  • REACH Healthcare Foundation – Grant funding is focused in three areas – safety-net health services, oral health and mental health. In addition, the Foundation has funded and/or helped launch more than a dozen initiatives.

  • The Robert Woods Johnson Foundation - The mission of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is to improve the health and health care of all Americans.


  • Sunflower Foundation - The mission of the Sunflower Foundation is to serve as a catalyst for improving the health of Kansans.


  • United Methodist Health Ministry Fund - The mission of the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund is healthy Kansans through cooperative and strategic philanthropy guided by Christian principles.


  • Wyandotte Health Foundation (WHF) - WHF's mission is to promote and improve the health of Wyandotte County citizens, particularly the indigent, through grants and collaborative efforts. Therefore, WHF seeks to achieve this mission by focusing its grant making into two major categories: Prevention, Intervention and Education; and Primary Health Care.
