Benilde Hall is a sanctuary for men, often homeless, who battle substance abuse and mental illness. Benilde Hall believes it’s not enough to just treat substance abuse, or mental illness, or homelessness. Their program looks at all three components together, and trained substance abuse counselors, psychiatrists and psychologists offer in-residence treatment, with a 75-percent success rate.
