Garland Land, retired from the Missouri Department of Health and as Executive Director for the National Association for Public Health Statistics and Information Systems.
Thomas Carignan, Vice President of Payment and Technology Solutions for United Missouri Bank and Chair of the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The new members were elected to fill the terms of HCF board members, Marcia Nielsen and Peg VanWagoner, who both resigned due to changes in their job responsibilities with two years remaining in their terms.
“We honored to welcome these new members to our Board of Directors. Both Garland and Tom individuals bring with them a wealth of knowledge, expertise and a great passion for our mission to help eliminate barriers to quality health for the uninsured and underserved,” said Steve Roling, President/CEO.
