KANSAS CITY, MO – The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City (HCF) has elected its 2013 officers and new members to its Board of Directors. Karen Cox, RN, Ph.D, Vice President/Co-Chief Operating Officer of Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics was re-elected as the Chair of the HCF Board of Directors. Other elected officers include Kenneth Southwick, Ed.D, re-elected as Vice-Chair; Jon R. Gray, elected as Secretary; and Dan Couch, re-elected as Treasurer.
Southwick, Garland Land, Albert P. Mauro Sr., S. Marie McCarther, Ed.D, Kenneth Stremming and Susan B. Wilson, Ph.D., were re-elected to serve their second three-year term on the board. HCF also welcomed new member Alan Flory, President of ReDiscover, to serve a three-year term.
“All of the individuals bring with them a wealth of knowledge, expertise and a great passion for our mission to help eliminate barriers to quality health for the uninsured and underserved,” said Steve Roling, HCF President/CEO.
