Healthy Lifestyles Funding Deadlines Approaching

Letters of Intent for HCF Healthy Lifestyles funding are due by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19th. How to Apply.

HPV Initiative Community Report and Education Forum

The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City and the REACH Healthcare Foundation invite you to a special forum where we will share evaluation results of the HPV Vaccine Initiative and discuss new developments regarding the HPV vaccine.

The forum will be held January 26, 2011 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the St. Paul's School of Theology, Holter Conference Center, 5123 East Truman Road, Kansas City, MO 64127. Lunch will be provided.

Keynote speaker will be Dr. Daryl Lynch, Section Chief of Adolescent Medicine and Vice Chair Ambulatory Medicine for the Department of Pediatrics at Children's Mercy Hospital. Register here.

2011 HCF Mental Health Pre-Proposal Conference

HCF will announce its 2011 Mental Health Request for Proposals (RFP) at a conference on February 23, 2011 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at the Jack Reardon Civic Center. Parking is free at the Hilton hotel adjacent to the Reardon Center. Letters of Intent are due on March 16, 2011, with full proposals due on April 20, 2011. Please download the Request for Proposal after February 9th from the website and bring it with you to the conference. Register.

Coming Soon to a Computer Near You!

HCF is in the final stages of a new website. The new, enhanced site will feature a searchable grants database, interactive frequently asked questions, expanded resources section and a news section that will provide readers with unique news on health and policy issues impacting our service area. The news will updated weekly. Stories will be written by local reporters, who will be managed through a contract with the Kansas Health Institute.
