2011 Healthy Lifestyles Pre-Proposal Conference
On December 15, HCF will host its 2011 Healthy Lifestyles Pre-Proposal Conference from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Jack Reardon Civic Center in Kansas City, KS. Four speakers will share their success in improving the food and built environment in their community, including Anupama Joshi, Co-Director of the National Farm to School Program; Larry Wolgast, Topeka, KS City Councilman; and Larry Martin and Cara Borneman with the City of Ozark. HCF will also present information on its 2011 Healthy Lifestyles funding. Register.

Ladder to Leadership
30 full scholarships will be awarded to as many as 30 emerging leaders of health-related and government nonprofits in the Kansas City area for the Ladder to Leadership program, a partnership between HCF, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Center for Creative Leadership.
