Health Care Foundation Seeks Applicants for Board of Directors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City (HCF) is accepting applications to fill seven upcoming vacancies on the 2014 HCF Board of Directors. Members of the HCF Board of Directors serve a three-year term. Directors can be re-nominated for a second three-year term. Board meetings are the second Wednesday every other month at the HCF offices (2700 E. 18th Street, Kansas City, Mo. 64127).

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, reside or work in the HCF service area and are required to represent the HCF service region’s gender, racial, cultural, geographic and ethnic diversity. Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

asset management and investment strategy
public health
health care delivery to the uninsured or underinsured
health care advocate
community/neighborhood development
philanthropic administration
marketing/public relations
work in the research, legal or non-profit sectors
​HCF’s Community Advisory Committee reviews applications and selects candidates for interviews. Interested and qualified candidates are asked to complete and return an application with your most current resume to or mail to:
